The 12th Cultural Week of China and the Speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao),had its official launch on October 22.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) is taking part in the 25th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) and the 2020 Portuguese-speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (PLPEX).

The “3rd Council Meeting of the Industrial and Commercial Summit between Jiangsu-Macao-Portuguese-speaking Countries” was held in Macao on the afternoon of October 22. As a member of the Summit Council, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) provided support to enable the meeting to happen.

The opening ceremony of the 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countrieswas held on October 22 at the Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Pavilion at the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), taking place at the Venetian Macao.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP) has conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the achievements of Forum Macao over the first 15 years since its establishment, and the report was published officially on October 21.

The 15th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) was held in Macao on October 21. The meeting was attended by about 30 representatives from, respectively: the People’s Republic of China, including from the Ministry of Commerce;

The 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries (Macao), will present on its website a series of videos called “Culinary Instruction on the Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Gastronomy”.

Organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), the 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries – through its online platform – showcases work from China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries and regions, representing the crafts, ingenuity and creative mastery of the artists.

The online programmes will start on October 22 for the 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, an event organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries (Macao).
