The opening ceremony of exhibitions of artists from, respectively, Portugal, Timor-Leste and Macao was held at 6.30pm on November 19, at the China – Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex. The exhibitions are the final activity of the 12th Cultural Week of China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, the latter organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Macao).

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) has organised the Online Workshop on the Use of Traditional Medicine to Fight COVID-19, in cooperation with the Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation Between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) set up a Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Pavilion at the ‘Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair’ held from November 12 to 14 in Qingdao, Shangdong Province.

The first-ever “1+3” Exhibition runs from November 19 to December 6 at the China – Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex. It is the final activity of the 12th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, the latter organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao and Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park held in November an online training course on the use of traditional medicine to tackle COVID-19. The training initiative was supported by the Macao SAR Health Bureau and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China.

On 11 November, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao Mr Ding Tian met with a delegation from Qingdao Municipality. The visiting party was led by Vice Mayor Mr Xue Qingguo, also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) jointly held on November 6 the “Promotion Seminar of Tourism Products from Portuguese-speaking Countries”. The event took place at 4pm in Hall D of Cotai Expo, at the Venetian Macao resort.

The 12th Cultural Week of China and the Speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao),had its official launch on October 22.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao Mr Ding Tian met with – during the period 21 to 23 October – delegations from a number of entities. The visitors were comprised of several groups, led respectively by: the Deputy Mayor of the Xuzhou Municipal People’s Government, Mr Xu Donghai; the President of the Hubei Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT),

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) is taking part in the 25th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) and the 2020 Portuguese-speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (PLPEX).
