The 17-day “10 small pieces of land, independent, in the middle of the Atlantic” exhibition, featuring work by Cabo Verdean artist Eduardo Bentub, ended on July 18. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, part of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

The 16th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held in Macao on July 20.

At the invitation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), a delegation of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the diplomatic corps of the Portuguese-speaking Countries in Forum Macao will take part, from July 19 to 23, in a number of activities in Macao.

Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao Mr Paulo Jorge Rodrigues do Espírito Santo – together with the Representatives of the Portuguese-speaking Countries at the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, and their respective families – visited on July 12 a photography exhibition in Macao celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and Macao Government Tourism Office jointly held on July 9 the “Promotion Seminar of Tourism Products from Portuguese-speaking Countries”. The event took place at 2pm in Cotai Expo’s Sicily Ballroom, at the Venetian Macao resort.

On July 6, a delegation led by the Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR, Mr Liu Xianfa, paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

The 17-day “News from the Forest” exhibition, featuring work by Portuguese artist Ana Jacinto Nunes, ended on June 27. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, part of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

On June 18, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) convened a meeting in Beijing.

The organisers of the Contest for Promotional Videos on Portuguese-speaking Countries have extended the deadline for submission of entries.
