The inauguration ceremony for the “The Man and the Forest” exhibition, which features work by Brazilian artist Mr Reginaldo Pereira, was held at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex, on Friday (October 29), at 6.30pm.

928 competition is co-organized by Fórum of Macau, City University of Macau, Shenzhen University and the United Nations University Institute in Macau.

A delegation led by Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao Mr Ding Tian travelled to the city of Chengdu in Sichuan province from September 22 to 25. A total of 190 people visited the 15-day “Different encounters” exhibition, featuring work by Mozambican artist José Estevão Manhiça, that ended on September 19. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, within the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

The finalists of the Contest for Promotional Videos on Portuguese-speaking Countries, a competition jointly hosted by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum Macao and the Macao Polytechnic Institute, have been selected from entries made by 24 teams. The finalists will now vie for the most votes, via online voting, and the corresponding special prize.

The China-Brazil International Fair for Trade in Services is being held online between August 30 and September 16, 2021. This event is co-organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-Operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao),

A total of 289 people visited the 13-day “Glances of Time” exhibition, featuring work by São Tomé and Príncipe artist Guilherme Carvalho, that ended on August 4. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, part of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

In order to promote the training of local talents as enshrined in the Policy Address of the Macao SAR Government, and to consolidate Macao’s role as a Platform, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) signed last year a cooperation and exchange agreement with Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI).

On July 29, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Mr Ding Tian, welcomed to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao a delegation from the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
