The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, jointly hosted the “2021 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair – Portuguese-speaking Countries Product Promotion” at the Venetian Macao’s convention and exhibition centre, on November 26.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao held with the collaboration of the Guangdong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park the first session of an online training course on the use of traditional medicine to tackle COVID-19. The training course was supported by the Macao SAR Government Health Bureau, and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China.

The inauguration ceremony for the “Memória e Presença” exhibition, which features work by Timor-Leste artist Mr Inu Bere, was held at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex, on October 19, at 6.30pm. The event was organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, under the “Lusophone Polychromes” exhibition series, part of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

On November 18, a group of about 20 students from the Master of Business Administration programme at City University of Macau visited the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

A new Representative to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao from Guinea-Bissau – Mr Abdú Jaquité (pictured) – took up office on October 31. Mr Jaquité replaced Mr Malam Becker Camará, who completed his term in office.

The 17-day “The Man and the Forest” exhibition, featuring work by Brazilian artist Mr Reginaldo Pereira, wrapped up successfully on November 14. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, within the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

The Opening Ceremony of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), was held at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex on November 12.

The Opening Ceremony of the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), will be held tomorrow (12 November) at 6:30pm.

The first edition of the 928 Challenge – University Competition for Students from China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, co-organised by Forum Macao, City University of Macau, Shenzhen University, and the United Nations University Institute in Macau, was held successfully in Macau on October 30.

The “Destruction of Humanity” exhibition, featuring work by Guinea-Bissau artist Ismael Hipólito Djata, and three related workshops, have been held successfully. They were part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, within the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

928 competition is co-organized by Fórum of Macau, City University of Macau, Shenzhen University and the United Nations University Institute in Macau.
