On the afternoon of October 20, the “Fujian, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries Economic and Trade Co-operation Conference”, jointly organized by the Department of Commerce of Fujian Province, the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), was held at The Venetian Macao.

On the afternoon of October 20, the “Promotion Session of the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA)” was held at Wynn Macau. On September 29, a parallel forum on “Strengthening China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Infrastructure Cooperation, Promoting the Recovery of SMEs” was held at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao, during the 13th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF).

In order to further leverage the role of Macao as a platform for promoting pragmatic exchanges and cooperation between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries in the field of tourism, and to contribute to the development of Macao as a world tourism and leisure centre, the “Promotion Seminar of Tourism Products from Portuguese-speaking Countries”,
