On March 18, led by Catarina Rocha Ferreira, President of the Portugal-China Parliamentary Friendship Group, a Portuguese delegation to China comprising parliament members visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (hereinafter referred to as “Forum Macao”). They learned about Forum Macao’s role in facilitating economic and trade co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs) and the development of the co-operation platform between China and PSCs. They also visited the Retrospective Exhibition of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Forum Macao.


Secretary-General of Forum Macao, Ji Xianzheng, led exchanges with the delegation, along with Deputy Secretary-Generals Xie Ying, Danilo Afonso Henriques, Casimiro de Jesus Pinto, and Representative of Portugal, Márcia Cordeiro Guerreiro, among others.
