China remains Brazil's main trading partner in 2025, according to the 162nd edition of the “Economy in Numbers” report, prepared by the Association for Industrial Development of the State of Goiás (Adial). The report highlights the main data on Brazilian foreign trade between January and May of this year.

Among the countries that purchased the most Brazilian products during this period, China leads by a wide margin, totaling US$37.09 billion. Considering the sum of exports and imports, China also leads the total trade flow with Brazil, with a turnover of US$67.3 billion.

The report also highlighted the ten municipalities in Goiás that exported the most between January and May 2025. Rio Verde ranks first with US$ 992.8 million, followed by Jataí (US$ 270.7 million) and Montividiu (US$ 126.3 million). Most of the destinations are in China, demonstrating the state's strong commercial dependence on China.
