Guarapuava takes a strategic step towards the internationalisation of its economy with the official launch of CCBRC Guarapuava – Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce, which will be presented at an institutional breakfast on 27 January at Cilla Tech Park.
The event symbolises the creation of an institutional, commercial and technological bridge between Guarapuava, Paraná and the Sino-Brazilian ecosystem, increasing the possibilities for international co-operation, attracting investment and generating new business.
Founded in 1992, the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce (CCBRC) is headquartered in Curitiba (PR) and is chaired by Mr Chiu Po Cheng, with the Superior Council led by Mr Chiu Cheng Yen. For more than three decades, the entity has acted as a national reference in commercial and cultural intermediation between Brazil and China, providing services to both the public and private sectors.
China is currently the main destination for Brazilian commodity exports and the largest supplier of manufactured goods imported by Brazil.
