According to data from China Customs Statistics (see attached table), trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries from January to September 2025 amounted to US$165.926 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.74%. China's imports from Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$100.350 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.04%, while China's exports to Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$65.576 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.80%.
Trade between China and Portuguese-speaking countries in September 2025 amounted to US$21.652 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.21%. China's imports from Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$13.723 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.52%, while China's exports to Portuguese-speaking countries amounted to US$7.929 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.43%.
