The city of Guilin, China, is hosting the 19th edition of the UN Tourism Forum - PATA. Embratur has a prominent place at the event, which is taking place recently.

The Agency was invited to present its data intelligence strategy, one of the strengths of the current management and a key element in strengthening Brazilian tourism on the global stage, in addition to the tool and use of this intelligence, as well as regional cooperation and the Brasis Plan - all of which have generated record results in terms of foreign visitor arrivals to the country.

Embratur's president, Marcelo Freixo, emphasizes that attracting more Chinese tourists to Brazil represents a strategic opportunity. Through partnerships such as the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) linking Embratur to strategic companies in the tourism sector in China, language, cultural, and access barriers are being overcome, while strengthening ties between the two nations.
