Luckin Coffee, one of China's leading coffee chains, has opened its fourth Brazil-themed store in Guangzhou. The new store, located in the Zhujiang New Town CBD, is the first of its kind in Guangdong province. The opening ceremony, held recently, was attended by Victor Queiroz, director-general of ApexBrasil's Asia-Pacific office, and Alan Coelho de Séllos, Brazil's consul-general in the city.
The themed store aims to offer Chinese consumers an immersive experience in Brazilian culture, as part of Luckin Coffee's strategy to expand knowledge and consumption of Brazilian coffee in China, promoting cultural and commercial exchanges. Luckin Coffee plans to open more than 30 Brazilian coffee-themed stores across the country, expanding the spread of Brazilian coffee culture.
Victor Queiroz highlighted the importance of the store in strengthening the presence of Brazilian coffee in the Chinese market, stating that China has been Brazil's largest trading partner since 2009. In recognition of its role in cultural and economic exchange, ApexBrasil awarded Luckin Coffee the title of “Strategic Partner of Sino-Brazilian Coffee Culture” in June 2025.
