The National Agricultural Society (SNA) and SNASH (SNA Startup Hub) of Brazil are participating in the Seminar on Sustainable Agricultural Development Management and Capacity Building for Poverty Reduction in Brazil, in Beijing (China), which began recently. SNA Vice President Leonardo Alvarenga was part of the honorary table at the official opening ceremony of the event and represented the Brazilian delegation.
Leonardo highlighted the relevance of the seminar for Brazil. “We will learn, in practice, new management models, the application of technological innovations, and sustainable development policies in agriculture, so that we can then take these lessons back to Brazil and help make Brazilian agriculture even more sustainable and take decisive action to combat poverty.”
In addition, Leonardo emphasized Brazil’s great productive strength, as well as the role of Brazilian agribusiness in ensuring food security in China and around the world. He also expressed his openness to strengthening ties between the two countries through new cooperation and business agreements.
