Forty-two journalists from various Angolan public media outlets recently traveled to Beijing, China, to participate in a seminar for Angolan media and press professionals. The initiative, which is the result of a partnership between the Chinese Embassy in Angola and the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), is part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of communication and professional training between Angola and China.

According to a note from Mirex, journalists from Jornal de Angola, Angop, TPA, TV-Zimbo, Rádio Nacional de Angola, Rádio Mais, and TV-Girassol will participate in the one-month training. 

The thematic sessions will be conducted by the China Foreign Language Publishing Administration Education and Training Center, a national education and training institution founded in 1964 and directly subordinate to the China Foreign Language Publishing Administration.
