The bilateral relationship between Angola and China, from 2000 to the present day, has enabled the construction of 100,000 housing units in the country, a fact that has contributed significantly to the realization of the dream of home ownership for thousands of Angolans. This was acknowledged in Luanda by the Minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing, Carlos dos Santos, during the opening of the International Real Estate Business Fair (FINI) 2025.

He also said that, in the year in which the country celebrates 50 years of National Independence, it is fair to recognize that bilateral cooperation has had multiple advantages that go deeper into the development of infrastructures, trade, industry, agriculture and staff training.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador to Angola, Zhang Bin, said that his country encourages and supports Chinese businesspeople to increase investment in the country, in the areas of industry, agriculture, commerce and real estate, actively participating in the process of diversifying Angola’s economy and industrialization.
