CCILC was a guest speaker at the workshop “The Chinese Market: A Destination for Portuguese Exports”, held in Torres Vedras. This initiative was made possible by the invitation of Crédito Agrícola Mútuo de Torres Vedras (CCAMTV), through its current President Manuel Guerreiro, as well as with the cooperation of the Jorge Álvares Foundation, represented by its President, Maria Celeste Hagatong.

CCILC's Secretary General, Bernardo Mendia, gave a wide-ranging presentation which gave an overview of the Chinese economic context and addressed the main current issues, such as trade opportunities, the export of foodstuffs to China (rules and examples of success), as well as to southern Europe, in comparative terms.

The session with open dialog reinforces CCILC's role as a link between companies and institutions in Portugal and China.
