Instituto Ecofuturo, in partnership with Suzano Asia and China’s Tongji University, is developing the "Sino-Brazilian Collaboration Program in Education and Nature."

The initiative brings together education specialists from China, representatives from the Environmental Education and Communication Center of the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and educators from Centro Educacional Jabuti in Mogi das Cruzes (São Paulo). The project aims to promote intercultural exchange between Brazil and China through collaborative activities and immersive experiences in conservation practices and environmental education.

During the meeting, Instituto Ecofuturo presented the themes and methodologies it has been developing in Brazil. The event also provided an in-person exchange between the Chinese specialists involved in the initiative, focusing on pedagogical methodologies and technologies related to environmental and biodiversity education. “This workshop sets a reference point for ecological cooperation between China and Brazil. We hope to co-write a new chapter in environmental education together with Suzano and Ecofuturo,” said Professor Dong Nannan, from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University.
