On May 14, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) held new meetings that are part of the agenda for the Brazilian trade mission to China. In partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), the Brazil-China Dialogue on Food Security took place in Beijing, bringing together Brazilian and Chinese organizations from various agribusiness segments. The mission took place during the Brazilian president's state visit to the country, which began on May 12.

On the same day, the new Brazilian Meat Office in China was inaugurated in partnership with ABIEC (Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries) and ABPA (Brazilian Association of Animal Protein), and a new partnership was signed with Luckin Coffee.

Brazil plays an important role in China's food security, accounting for more than 25% of China's agricultural and livestock imports. The mission aims to expand bilateral trade, which is experiencing a period of greater integration.
