Chinese carmaker Geely has announced a partnership with Renault and will sell cars in Brazil. At an event held in São Paulo on April 9, the brands even presented the Geely EX5 luxury electric SUV to journalists. The Carro Arretado report was at the ceremony in the São Paulo capital, and it turns out that the vehicle will be the first model marketed in Brazil in this partnership focused on the sale of energy vehicles.

Geely owns brands such as Volvo and Zeekr. The group's focus is to explore this segment of electrified cars and the expansion of Chinese companies in Brazil. Geely will initially open 23 dealerships and reach 105 in Brazil.

The first stores should start operating in July and Recife will have a store. The dealers appointed to sell Geely will be dealers of Renault, who will be responsible for distributing Geely cars.
