In December 2024, the second group of three members of the China-Brazil agricultural technology residency project arrived in Apodi, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and joined the first group to begin four months of agricultural machinery testing and research.
The China-Brazil agricultural technology residency project began with the installation of machinery and equipment in the Apodi region of Brazil, to improve the productivity and quality of life of local small farmers.
The news is that this year's agricultural production in Apodi received strong support from Chinese farm machinery and equipment from the China Agricultural University (CAU).
A total of 31 new agricultural machines and equipment, including harvesters, tractors and drones for plant protection, were used in local agricultural work. The equipment has significantly improved the mechanization of local agricultural production, multiplying the efficiency of soybean, corn and fruit cultivation farming and harvesting, reducing farmers' labor intensity and shortening the farm cycle.
