China's new ambassador willing to deepen relations

The new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Guinea-Bissau, Yang Renhuo, said on May 7, 2024, that he is willing to deepen relations between the two countries and promote bilateral cooperation to a new level, through aid and support to the Guinean government.


Yang Renhuo, who was speaking to the press after handing over Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic, UmaroSissoco Embaló, arrived in the country on April 25 to replace Guo Ce.


The Chinese diplomat said he was delighted to be the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Guinea-Bissau, where he will make joint efforts with the national authorities to strengthen political relations with the Guinean government and all investors.


Asked about the areas he will prioritize in his cooperation with Guinea-Bissau, the Chinese diplomat said that he intends to further deepen cooperation with the country in various areas to reach out to communities, benefiting the Guinean population through practical results.
