99, a mobility platform controlled by DiDi, placed electric mobility at the center of discussions at COP30, which recently came to a close.
The platform reported that its fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles in the country now totals more than 30,000 vehicles, has made 27 million trips, and has avoided 31,200 tons of CO2 since 2024. The charging infrastructure is growing between 12% and 15% per year, with more than 16,800 active public and semi-public points in mid-2025 in Belém.
99, which leads the Brazilian Sustainable Mobility Alliance, maintains its goal of increasing the share of electric vehicles to 15% of new car sales by the end of 2025 and supporting the installation of 10,000 public chargers. In Belém, the company also operates electric motorcycles in partnership with Riba Brasil.
