Recently, the opportunities available in Jaboatão dos Guararapes were presented by the Mayor of Jaboatão, Mano Medeiros, in Beijing, during the Seminar on Investment and Business Opportunities in Northeast Brazil. 

Mano Medeiros explained that the city is located near the capital of Pernambuco and has important distinctive characteristics, such as the availability of land for large companies and dialogue with the city council.

In China, the delegation visited Meituan, which expressed interest in expanding its operations in Brazil. The Mayor highlighted Jaboatão's logistical attributes and proximity to technology hubs in Pernambuco as strategic factors for future partnerships. 

The program also included visits to the Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab, Shenzhen Qianhai Energy, and Huawei. In addition, the delegation participated in the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) to explore opportunities for cooperation.
