Recently, Serpro took part in the official mission of the Brazilian government to China, joining the national delegation in strategic forums on artificial intelligence, smart cities, and digital governance.

On July 26, the company participated in the international roundtable “Global Digital Government,” held as part of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai. In addition to delivering a presentation on Brazil’s public digital infrastructure platform Gov.br, Serpro also contributed to a strategic agenda for BRICS countries, outlining Brazil’s vision for a shared public digital infrastructure within BRICS.

Beyond its participation in WAIC, the agenda also includes engagements with institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and the Institute of Automation. With visits to Shanghai and Beijing, the mission will reinforce the company’s qualified efforts to open new avenues for international dialogue and cooperation aimed at strengthening Brazil’s digital government and co-creating with countries of the Global South.
