Portugal to tout itself as film location at Shanghai event

Portugal will advertise its potential as a location for filming when it exhibits at the China International Travel Mart (CITM).

A written announcement issued by the Portuguese government quotes Secretary of State for Tourism Ana Mendes Godinho as saying so.

Portugal is making a big effort to lure big film projects such as the Italian-US co-production about the Marian apparitions of 1917, which is being shot there now, the government quotes Ms Mendes Godinho as saying.

The CITM website says the event will take place in Shanghai from November 16 to 18.
