Angolan President João Lourenço and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to sign tomorrow or on Wednesday a deal putting an end to double taxation of Sino-Angolan commercial transactions, Angop reports, quoting Mr Lourenço’s staff.
The Angolan state-run news agency says the agreement is one of several to be discussed during Mr Lourenço’s two-day state visit to China.
The report says the Angolan president is due to arrive in Beijing on Tuesday, and meet Mr Xi and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang the same day.
Angolan Foreign Minister Manuel Augusto and National Bank of Angola Governor José de Lima Massano will accompany Mr Lourenço, Angop says.
Mr Lourenço was last in Beijing only last month, when he attended a Sino-African summit meeting and met Mr Xi.
