On June 5, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Macao).

Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng welcomed President Embaló, providing a brief overview of the Forum Macao and the operations of the Permanent Secretariat, as well as updates on the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Economic and Trade Cooperation from the 6th Ministerial Conference. President Embaló expressed that Forum Macao brings together China and all Portuguese-speaking countries, and the Guinea-Bissau government highly values and will continue to support the Forum, looking forward to more cooperative achievements within its framework.
