Two first places, one second place, and two special prizes. That was the outcome for four Brazilian federal institutes of education, science, and technology (IFs) in the Huawei ICT Competition, an international tournament in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that took place recently in the city of Shenzhen, China.
The ninth edition of the event brought together 210,000 students and trainers from more than 2,000 institutions in over 100 countries and regions. After the national and regional stages, 179 teams from 48 countries and regions reached the global final, with Brazil being one of the highlights.
Launched in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition has seen participation from students from various countries. The global event in the field of Information and Communication Technology focuses on knowledge about the use of current technologies and platforms.
