Equatorial Guinea asks for technical assistance from China to eradicate poverty

The vice president of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, asked the Chinese Ambassador to the country, Wang Wengang, for technical assistance from the Asian giant to eradicate poverty in the Equatorial Guinea territory.


According to the institutional website of the Government of Equatorial Guinea, the request was made during a meeting with the Chinese ambassador. The vice president took the opportunity to thank the Chinese government for its contribution to the development of Equatorial Guinea and praised the achievements that China has achieved in recent decades, becoming one of the world's economic powers.


It is in this context that he said he believes China is a model for eradicating poverty in Equatorial Guinea, as the Chinese government has implemented a socioeconomic program to improve the lives of its citizens.


The Chinese diplomat stated that his country is willing to share its experience with Equatorial Guinea, taking into account the excellent relations between the two nations.
