On March 31, Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao met with a delegation led by Guo Wenhai, the Secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and Nominee of the Standing Committee of the Zhongshan Municipal People’s Congress. Both sides discussed leveraging Zhongshan’s geographical advantages, utilizing the roles of Forum Macao and the Macao platform, and further promoting economic and trade cooperation between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries. The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao’s Deputy Secretary-General Xie Ying, Coordinator of the Executive Office Li Xiaohui, and Advisor at the Executive Office Liu Yimei attended the meeting.

Later on, the Zhongshan delegation visited the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform.
