The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) welcomed a delegation of Chinese businesspeople interested in investing in agribusiness, tourism, and infrastructure, in an initiative aimed at boosting economic partnerships and attracting new investment flows to the country.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation expressed interest in developing agribusiness projects, with an emphasis on research initiatives and the introduction of modern agricultural technologies, to be implemented in partnership with Regadio do Baixo Limpopo and Rovuma University. The aim is to boost agricultural productivity and add value to local production chains.
The Chinese entrepreneurs requested the support of the CTA in establishing contacts with Mozambican entrepreneurs. In response, the CTA undertook to identify national strategic partners that meet the needs presented, facilitating dialogue and the implementation of the proposed investments.
