In search of technology to transform health education, a delegation from the Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra) undertook an 11-day mission to China. The group visited the cities of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Shanghai, and Hangzhou, global hubs of innovation and research.
During the trip, Ulbra's management saw and acquired state-of-the-art simulators and a humanoid, which will be integrated into academic activities. The investment aims to make the institution's medical course the most technological in Brazil, with an impact on other courses in the health field as well.
The international mission also included the exchange of best practices with Chinese companies and startups, as well as technical training in the use of innovative technologies. For Aelbra's Communications and Marketing Superintendent, Fred Ribas, the trip allowed for new connections and reinforces the University's role of always striving for improvement.
