Recently, at the invitation of Huawei, a delegation from Angola's Institute for Administrative Modernization (IMA), led by Director General Meick Afonso, participated in Huawei Connect 2025 and visited technology centers in China to learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions applied to public administration.

The mission provided contact with infrastructure such as the Atlas 900 A3 supercomputer, AI platforms, and practical cases from Brazil and Kenya, where the technology already simplifies processes, improves service, and boosts the digital economy.

Based on this Government AI Readiness Index 2024, the IMA is preparing the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Public Services, which will be based on technological sovereignty, the interoperability of state systems, the valorization of public data, and investment in national talent. The goal is clear: to modernize public administration and bring the state closer to citizens and businesses.
