Ministry of Youth and Sports of Angola receives sports equipment from China

Recently, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Minjud) of Angola received a batch of equipment for mass use from China, as part of the Planadesporto Development Plan. The handover ceremony took place at the Kilamba Multipurpose Pavilion in Luanda, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, who received the equipment from the chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Angola, Chen Feng.


According to Angop, this is a complete batch of equipment for handball, soccer, gymnastics, table tennis, tennis, and athletics, and it will be distributed shortly.


On the occasion, the minister said that in addition to China, the country is working with several partners. “The equipment is of high quality and we have decided to equip a provincial gymnasium,” he said, adding that another part of the equipment will be distributed to several schools. “With China, the partnership extends to sports infrastructure, as it is important to meet the goals of Planadesporto,” he stressed.
