The 25th Chinese medical team in Mozambique has donated medical equipment and supplies to the Maputo Central Hospital to promote the advancement of local medical technology and improve treatment conditions. This donation fully reflects the deep friendship and spirit of cooperation between China and Mozambique.
The donated medical supplies include instruments for posterior thoracolumbar and anterior cervical spine procedures, which will help enhance the hospital’s capacity to treat patients with spinal diseases.
Mouzinho Saíde, director of Maputo Central Hospital, expressed his gratitude, noting that over the years, Chinese medical teams have provided large quantities of equipment and medicines to the hospital, significantly improving its medical technology standards. Saíde added that many doctors from Maputo Central Hospital have received professional medical training in China. He expressed hope for greater cooperation with the Chinese medical team in the future, in order to further contribute to the health and well-being of the Mozambican people.
