Energy and manufacturing were the main topics of discussion at an event held in Macao to promote the China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Co-operation and Development Fund, Lusa reports.

The Portuguese news agency says nearly 100 people attended.

The purpose of the event, held yesterday, was to teach Macao entrepreneurs about the investment environment in the Portuguese-speaking Countries and how to go about investing in them, Lusa says.

The China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Co-operation and Development Fund is an aspect of the function of Macao as a place where China and the Portuguese-speaking world can conduct business.
