With the theme “From Green Coffee to Golden Future: Exploring New Paths for Coffee Development between China and Brazil”, Luckin Coffee's first China-Brazil Coffee Cultural Salon was held in Xiamen City, Fujian Province.
During the event, representatives from Luckin Coffee, the Xiamen BRICS Office and various Brazilian parties took part in a dialog on coffee trade and cultural exchange, actively exploring new avenues of sectoral cooperation to welcome the upcoming “China-Brazil Year of Culture 2026”.
In June last year, Luckin Coffee further enhanced its commercial partnership with Brazil by signing a series of letters of intent to purchase 120,000 tons of Brazilian coffee beans by the end of this year, with a value of US$500 million, during the visit of the Brazilian delegation led by Geraldo Alckmin, Brazil's Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) to China. According to the agreements, the Chinese coffee chain plans to buy a total of 240,000 tons of beans from Brazil between 2025 and 2029.
