The Angolan government will grant land to Brazilian and Chinese entrepreneurs for the establishment of agricultural production hubs in different provinces of the country, including Malanje and Cuanza Norte. The Angola Sovereign Fund will also contribute to the financing guarantees until the investment is recovered.

The land, covering an area of 800,000 hectares, will be used to set up farms for the large-scale production and export of soybeans, corn, cotton, oranges, meat (beef, poultry, and pork), among other products in which Brazil and China excel.

Angola has a guarantee to export 500,000 tons of surplus products to China and to double that amount later, according to the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Isaac dos Anjos, who recently met with the Association of Brazilian Businessmen and Executives in Angola (AEBRAN). Minister Isaac dos Anjos also said that businesspeople from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia are also interested in making the same investment in Angola.
