The traditional Dragon Boat Festival, one of the most emblematic celebrations of Chinese culture, will land in São Paulo on May 31, 2025. The special edition marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Brazil and China, and is part of the project "50 Years of Brazil-China Relations: A History of Friendship", organized by Ibrachina and the Chinese Bridge Club in São Paulo.

"Dragon Boat Day is more than a sporting and cultural event - it's a living bridge between Brazil and China. In a year as symbolic as this one, we celebrate five decades of friendship with this meeting," said Thomas Law, president of the Ibrachina.

During the event, a series of colorful activities stand out. As well as the traditional dragon boat competition, the public will be able to take part in workshop and attend cultural programs that include a performance by a Brazilian musical ensemble that interprets Chinese songs with contemporary arrangements, as well as performances of the traditional Lion Dance and Dragon Dance.
