Guinea-Bissau will make its debut in the China International Import Exhibition

Guinea-Bissau will participate for the first time in the China International Import Exhibition (CIIE), the largest Chinese fair dedicated to foreign products, scheduled for November in Shanghai, informed the Chinese embassy in Bissau on the 24th of  August.

The Chinese ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, Guo Ce, said he hoped the CIIE could “build a bridge for Guinea-Bissau’s signature products to enter the Chinese market.

The diplomat called for bilateral cooperation not only in exporting Guinean cashew nuts to China but also in training human resources in the commercial area.

Guinea-Bissau had already taken cashew nuts and other products to the China-Africa Economic and Trade Exhibition, which took place in Changsha, capital of Hunan province, in central China, from the 19th of June to the 2nd of July.
