Envoy advocates more Sino-Angolan co-operation to benefit officials

Chinese Ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin has called for closer Sino-Angolan co-operation in education and culture to help groom Angolan officials, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency quotes Mr Cui as telling Governor Carlos da Rocha Cruz of the Angolan province of Namibe that China would keep offering scholarships for Angolan students at various levels of education.

The ambassador wrote in an article published this year that China had trained over 2,500 Angolans and awarded 300 scholarships, Angop says.
