The Logistique Summit 2025, expected to draw over 1,400 participants, will take place from August 12 to 14 in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. A central theme of the event will be China’s influence on Brazil’s economy and infrastructure, reflecting the deepening bilateral ties between the two nations amid shifting global geopolitics.

The summit will bring together executives, shippers, logistics operators, public officials, and experts to foster a strategic and collaborative vision for addressing industry challenges. Key discussion points include balancing foreign investment with national interests—ensuring technology transfer, sustainable development, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Over the past 14 years, Chinese investments in Brazil have totaled approximately $66 billion, with logistics alone surpassing $25 billion since 2019. As Brazil’s second-largest export hub, Santa Catarina has attracted significant investments, including the Araquari mega logistics complex. Meanwhile, the Port of Itajaí is solidifying its role as the primary entry point for Chinese electric vehicles into Brazil.
