The Chinese Government will help fund the building of a Vocational Training Integrated Centre in Angola’s Huambo Province next year, the Jornal de Angola newspaper reports.
The Minister of Public Administration, Work and Social Welfare, Pitra Neto, made the announcement earlier this week in Luanda following a tour of a similar facility in the capital city with Chinese Ambassador Cui Aimin.
“The [Luanda] centre is well organised, showing the importance given by the government to the enhancement of human resources. This makes us reiterate our pledge with Angola in promoting the development of this sector,” Mr Cui was quoted as saying.
Mr Cui said mainland experts would assist in training staff.
