The Chinese government begins today a 20-day course of training in China for 24 Angolan technicians chosen by their government, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency says the technicians will be taught about the prospects for the development of arable and livestock farming and of fishing, and instructed in techniques useful in those industries.

The report quotes the Chinese Embassy in Luanda as saying the Chinese government arranged the course and is paying for it.

The training will help Angola develop arable and livestock farming and fishing, thus increasing Sino-Angolan co-operation in those industries and making the Angolan economy more diverse, Angop says.
